We at World Jump Rope have a very exciting announcement to make! As a very special gala, and as part of the 2012 World Jump Rope Championship & Camp, we will have a Red Carpet Ball as this year’s social event! The Gala, which will run from 8-11pm on July 8th, will be at The Grand Ballroom on the campus of GWU located at 800 21st Street NW, Washington DC. The event is included in the price for allparticipants of the Championship & Camp, designated coaches and all others staying on a package. Tickets for all others are $20 per person and may be purchased in advance through the WJR website (if paying with a credit card or via Paypal, please include that the payment is for tickets in the remarks/comments section) or upon arrival in D.C. Attire for the Ball is Formal Prom/Red Carpet Attire.
Come see the “Stars” walk the red carpet in an event reminiscent of a Hollywood film premier! Enjoy our chocolate fountain, appetizers and drinks! Dance and mingle under the stars and lights to the latest music spun by one of DC’s finest DJ’s! Come and be the first to hear the big announcement of next year’s 2013 World Jump Rope Championship & Camp location, honored guests, and mingle with dignitaries and leaders of the sport.
