“World Jump Rope Federation (WJRF) is currently accepting proposals to host our 2018 WJRF World Championship and 2018 Pan American Championship. This is a new process that we hope will make the hosting opportunity more open and accessible to a wider cross section within the jump rope community. The first WJRCC was launched in 2011 and has grown tremendously since then. In an effort to achieve a wider range of hosting options, WJR has determined that a new platform is needed which is more accessible and allows for improved interaction between potential hosts and WJRF.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from various candidate organizations, conduct a fair and extensive evaluation based on criteria listed herein, and select the candidate who best represents the spirit of World Jump Rope and can offer superior facilities and organization at a competitive price. Please note that there isn’t a separate RFP document for the Pan American as it has similar needs to the WJRCC.
WJRF is an International Federation (IF) that promotes the spread and recognition of jump rope/rope skipping globally and is focused on sport promotion and managing the best practices of international sport.
WJRF is a 501 c (3) non-profit international sports federation and is registered in the state of Ohio, USA.”
