World Jump Rope Federation is pleased to recognize and recommend the Level 1 Jump Rope Instructor Certification course and curriculum developed by Atec Marketing Limited. Atec Marketing Limited has been providing world class jump rope resources and products around the world since 1983 and is led by internationally acclaimed jump rope instructor Elizabeth Way. World Jump Rope Federation exclusively endorses this certificate for jump rope instructor training around the world.

The launch of this course is an exciting step forward for the sport of jump rope, ensuring a consistent credential globally.

The course is in two parts –theory (on-line) and practical (in person). The online component is accessible through desktop, laptop, tablet and smart phone with videos, text, quizzes and printable curriculum supports.  The practical component involves five contact hours.   Successfully completing both sections is required to be awarded the certificate.


Who is this course for?

Anyone who wants to lead a recreation or camp program, effectively teach jump rope units in an academic or extracurricular setting, or become better equipped to support new jumpers on a competitive team.

What is in the course?

The course teaches how to instruct single rope, long rope and group skills. It also  includes a proven 12 week curriculum (with lesson plans) as well as applications for sports, playground activities, learning outcomes and more!

All materials are based upon the successful Jump2bFit® program that has been utilized by 1000’s of schools in North America as well as provided the basis for successful programs in Asia and the Caribbean.

The online component is available anywhere – registration is part of choosing the onsite practical component.  Currently the next global offering for the practical part will be at World Jump Rope 2018 in Orlando Florida.  Registration will be available soon.
